Really just allow play and lose the extra info which is purely for statistics and marketing

Re: My Experience with Xbox Support

A similar thing happened to me. Whilst I am able to queue downloads okay, I'm currently unable to play Battlefield 3 online.

I had an automated response back from EA to say that the account must have an age of 13 or greater and the support I received through XBOX online support basically said the same as in your post - i.e. the age is set in stone and can't be changed.

I first created my account in 2004 on the old XBOX which was later transferred to a 360 in 2005. It seems bizarre to me that I must now lose six years of gaming saves, friends and achievements plus my gamertag I've had for seven years just to play an EA game.

Re: Fix iTunes Always Wanting to Restore or set up as new iPhone / iPod

Worked like a champ 12/29/11

Re: How to downgrade iTunes 10.5 Beta to 10.3.x

Do you get anything in that folder?
SD card reader found here: http://www.downloadwindowsdriv...
I used the latest driver there against an entry in Device Manager that began SD Host Controller.

Armed with that success I began to look for a driver for the Base System Device that I figured must be the Sony MS controller. The driver that worked was on this page:
http://www.downloadwindowsdriv...
I used the latest driver there 6.03.00.0061.

So now my card reader is working! Hope this helps others.

Regards,

The process worked for my TT21JN. But didn't activate my built-in card reader :-(
The search goes on.
Just thought I'd say that the Sony website for the TT21JN has the DLL (drivers) listed separately. But Windows 7 had most of those down. Still, I downloaded those that seemed like I might need them, like the chipset drivers and the memory card reader drivers and installed them where I could. And followed Ben's order.

And now my front panel works!

Cheers Ben!

Re: Sony Vaio function keys and Windows 7

Thanks for the tip hopefully it will come in useful for others :)

Re: Sony Vaio function keys and Windows 7

In your 'Start' menu click on 'Run' and type in services.msc
You'll see a long list called Services (Local), click on the name parameter to have them sorted alphabetically.
Find the one called VAIO Event Service. The glasses are still the real drawback and I can see that this will be the reason it might still not take off. I did go to a convention (a few years back) and they had TVs with special grills in them so that it actually 3Ds it for you - NO GLASSES. It was incredible as you would just walk past and suddenly see a 3D can of coke spinning.

Of course you still need to be at 15 degree angles to see it, and you need to be able to see from both eyes. Might be the future though....

Re: My 2¢ on 3D Cinema

interesting idea but i think the depth effect comes from the closeness of the lenses to the face, at least thats I reckon it must work
